The easyPAY Central Payment Kiosk is the first product that
allows customers to start any washer and dryer in the store with Coins, Bills
and Credit Card. Laundry Owners can finally offer the convenience of
alternative payment methods – without replacing their coin drops or
altering the appearance of their machines.
Each easyPAY Kiosk is equipped with an Electronic Coin
Acceptor, Bill Validator and Bi-directional card swipe. The customers interface
with a 10” Color Touch Screen Display that provides easy to follow
instructions, and accepts input from pressing buttons displayed on the screen.
Customers simply enter the machine numbers they want to start, the easyPAY
kiosk totals the transaction and accepts their payment. Once payment is
received – the kiosk sends the signal to the appropriate machines.
The easyPAY System allows laundry owners to offer the
convenience of credit card and bill acceptance, as well as being a redundant
coin drop for their equipment (in the case of coin jams). As the usage of bills
and credit card increase, the usage of coins decreases – thereby reducing coin
collections! The easyPAY kiosk has already proven to reduce coin collections by
as much as 50%.
The easyPAY System does not require laundry owners to drill
or cut holes in their machines, or add any expensive card readers or external
displays that can confuse customers. The only thing needed on the machine is a
simple decal that provides a Machine Number to enter into the kiosk. Owners set
their own vend levels (in quarter increments) and can assign up to three
different wash levels at different prices.
The easyPAY Rear Load Kiosk is built of solid welded steel, and has an
enamel, powdercoat painted finish and a Stainless Steel faceplate, with one T-handle Lock and Medeco Lock Plug.
Owners must have a hi-speed internet connection via cable or
DSL on site. Hi-speed credit card processing is provided by Gravity Payments
(Seattle, WA). All owners will be required to establish a Merchant Account with
Gravity Payments in order to process credit cards through their easyPAY System.
